Our leaders collectively drive the overall strategic direction of the company. In addition, each leader is responsible for managing a specific part of the business, reflecting their particular career background, professional competencies and personal interests.

     
Tebogo Kukama

Bachelor of science (QS) UCT, 1997
BCom (Hons) Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management UCT, 2000
PR (QS) RICS Accredited Mediator 2014

Tebogo Kukama is a co-founder of Moteko, a professional Construction Project Manager (SACPCMP, Registration No D/1395/2006) and a professionally registered Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for Quantity Surveyor (PrQs - Registration No 2742).

She is also a professional member of the ASAQS (Association of South African Surveyors- No. 3986). She is qualified and highly skilled in both fields of Quantity Surveying and financial analysis, portfolio management and property management.

Mrs Kukama obtained the following key qualifications:

• Bachelor of science (QS) UCT, 1997;
• BCom (Hons) Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management, UCT, 2000;
• PR (QS); and
• RICS Accredited Mediator 2014.

Mrs Kukama’s key experiences include: property development, project feasibity and viabity studies, contracts management, contract financial planning, project cost audits and budgeting, asset and utilities management.

Her career spans across vast spectrum of public and private projects including commercial, leisure, community monuments, government buildings and multi-purpose structures.

 

Madoda Vilakazi

PR (QS) RICS Accredited Mediator 2014

Madoda Vilakazi is a co-founder of Moteko and is a professionally registered Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (PrQs - Registration No 3004).

He is also a professional member of the ASAQS (Association of South African Quantity Surveyors No. 3005).With qualifications in both Quantity Surveying and Marketing Management, he has held numerous senior management and technical positions as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager prior to setting up Moteko Construction Cost Consultants and Project Managers.

Mr Vilakazi obtained the following key qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (QS) UCT, 1998;
• Marketing Management UCT, 2000 PR (QS); and
• RICS Accredited Mediator 2014.

Mr Vilakazi’s key experience include project planning & analysis, Programme Management, project concept development, project feasibity and viabity studies, value engineering on both capital work and maintenance in the public sector, Project and Programme Management for roads based on EPWP Projects.

He also has experience on public sector housing including amongst others, community residential units and low cost housing. His Career comprises of a variety of project from private property to government building and public structures which includes hotels, libraries, hospitals, educational, entertainment, community halls, police stations, housing, etc.
